Body weight exercises are essential for anyone who wants to learn how to burn fat and turn all that excess fat on their bodies into muscle. Yet believe it or not; many people in todays society where 1 in ever 3 households owns a computer does not own any type of exercise equipment. Heck many of them do not even own any type of fitness gear such as weights, dumbbells, or even an exercise ball.
If you are going to get serious about building the type of body that you desire then it is important to understand that body weight exercises are going to play a huge role on whether or not you are going to be able to develop your body the way that you would like it to be.
However if you are one of the many people who do not currently own any type of fitness equipment in your home; you should never let that stop you. There are some creative ways that you can use some of the things that you currently have in your home for a set of weights or even some type of exercise equipment.
For instance lets say that you do not have some weights; but you would like to add some resistance to your sit ups or crunches. All you would have to do is find something at home that is heavy enough to give you resistance. I have personally used my own phone book and this alone was enough to provide me with just enough resistance to help develop my abs the way that I wanted them to be.
Step ups even though they sell little benches that you can use to help do your step ups; you can easily implement the exercise without spending a lot of money. If you have a little stool that you sit on while you are doing some gardening or anything or thing; you can easily use this to perform this exercise.
Whatever you choose to do or how you choose to implement your body weight exercises; you should just be willing to start doing what it takes to get up off the couch and begin moving. Your body just needs to get the heart beat pumping if you really want to lose weight and burn fat.
