A door left open, Monday 25th August 1913

Some good news - Albert Kahn and his party have stepped out onto the lawn at the back of Albert’s house at Carbis Bay, Cornwall, on Monday, 25th August 1913 - and it seems that they have left the door open…

I think I can hear voices - perhaps we should we go. If you have moved anything, please put it back where you found it.

Addendum: Now that the party has returned, if you look back, you can see Albert’s house. And they’ve left that door open again…
