I’m Louisa from Toronto and I bet you are always looking for the latest in diet trends to help you shake off those extra pounds, just like I was. Yes, that is right – WAS. I no longer need to do any desperate late night surfing on the web, I no longer need to visit clinics and support groups with embarrassing weigh-in sessions, I no longer have to stare at the isle of my local drug store hoping to find the cure for my weight problem. You might think that I decided to spend my energy and money on a course in nutrition or health or fitness, but you would be wrong. Nope, my hard work and dedication just finally paid off. I found the diet that works wonders and I hope that by telling you about it you can finally have the answer to all your desperate pleads as well. That answer would be the African Mango Diet with supplements made from the African Mango itself. After a colon cleanse I was more than ready to start my new diet and subsequently my new life.
African Mango Diet Before and After Picture
How did you get so big?
You might wonder why I put on weight in the first place, I was a whopping 200pounds after all. Well there are many health reasons that I am sure a lot of women and men out there can relate to. I do not have a very active metabolism, my body type is medium to large, I have thyroid problems and I am sure many psychological traumas that lead to over eating. I tried every diet I could get my hands on and yet I never really lost any weight, maybe a pound or two here and there, but nothing to get excited about and certainly nothing like this. I never felt very good on any of these diets and I was rather moody during a lot of them. The problem was I never really stuck to it, they were too vigorous or did not meet my emotional needs. Anyway I decided it was time for a change when my house doctor warned me of the dangers of diabetes. I started journaling more often to get my self esteem up and it was not long before I heard of a colon cleanse and the African mango diet.
Who was the messenger that did not get shot?
I was watching a program on the telly when I heard about the African mango diet, of course my first thought was – yet another one that will not work! But I kept watching, intrigued. There was some famous doctor on the show I did not even catch his name, since I was not really paying attention. But I could tell he knew what he was talking about, he was well educated and understood the pitfalls of many fad diets on the shelves.
What really caught my attention was how the African mango extract could help with high blood sugar levels and high cholesterol, a real concern for most of us who are overweight let me tell you! So now I was really interested and wanted to know more. The doctor explained that at first researchers thought the antioxidants found in abundance in this product was responsible for the weight loss, but more recent studies show that the results are far too great to be from that reason alone. So there you have it, a miracle supplement.
The key is in the leptin. This is a naturally occurring hormone that signals to your brain whether or not you need more sustenance (food). But due to high level of CPR (C-reactive protein) that builds up in most obese bodies we become resistant and less responsive to leptin. The African Mango extract lowers the levels of CPR in the body and allows the leptin to take on and fulfil the role it is meant to.
The power combo: African Mango Diet & Colon Cleanse
I decided to do a colon cleanse and since I often have problems like constipation, bloating, stomach cramps, headaches, lethargy, depression and dull skin. I was sure that there was years’ of waste build up in my system that I needed to get rid of before I can really begin dieting. So I literally got rid of the old to make way for the new. I did the best option there is, a five day juice cleanse with supplements. I cannot tell you the difference it made! I felt like a new person already and in just five days. I had more energy, no more constipation, my headaches started to fade, my skin got some colour and it all made me feel pretty upbeat and good about myself. After this I was ready to start my diet. I decided to go with the African Mango diet since it has added benefits for high cholesterol and blood sugar levels, which is a health concern for me. I was not disappointed! With the colon cleanse and the start of my diet I had lost nearly ten pounds in the first week! During the second week I started with a moderate exercise regime and now I am doing a pretty hard core routine three times a week.
