“I Wanna Be Your Man” – Willy Moon

“Willy Moon’s songs interest me because they are irresistibly jangling pop tunes that persist in the mind vividly and then grow in emotional resonance upon further listening. They have the rare authority of nursery rhymes – even when you hear Willy Moon’s melodies for the first time, you feel you already know them, as if they had always been around.”

I’ll just stick with the original-and-never-to-be-reproduced talent of Bo Diddley. Nice try, though, Willy.

Hold on, Cowboy! I didn’t say it wasn’t good-I just said it’s been done before. Kinda like Madonna and Lady Gaga.

NONI- did it ever occur to you that these people spend a long time and much hard work doing something as great as this? For you to just use the first opportunity to show you know the influence of their music and try to belittle them shows more about your bad attitude than anything.

If you read the interview with Spitalfields life you can see Willy openly declares his love and influence of the before mentioned- so I say- Go Willy Go, better than most stuff that has come out in the last 10 years….and far better than all this 90′s revival at the moment!
