Very retro indeed, but shouldn’t this say “1983″? http://www.google.com/search?q=apple+gift+catalogue+1983
This looks much more like 1983 than 1993, IMHO.
Seems more like ’83 than ’93.
I don’t think this is 1993. I had an Apple in ’93 and it wasn’t like this.
If this were to come around today, this shit would be sold out in minutes.
1983! Look the last page – Apple II with Disc II and 9″ Monitor
Definitely ‘83
Know of anywhere I can get that t-shirt?
I want the belt buckle. There’s a picture of Woz and Jobs holding a circuit board in an Apple factory, and Woz is wearing that style belt.
Maybe someday I’ll find someone to make it for me.
I just don’t get why someone would walk around as a billboard, no matter how much I like the product …admittedly I’m the odd man out though.
Well Matt, we do so even when we don’t wish too: wear anything by Nike? You get a “Swish”; wear Levi’s? You get tags. Unless you want to go around cutting off labels, turning clothing inside out, bleaching the merry crud out of your clothing — you will, want to or not, be wearing a brand. Ever buy a T-shirt for a band you like? Do you wear it?
Or buy a soda. If you don’t pour it into a glass/plastic you’ll be “advertising” same.
Of course, there is a difference between intentional and unavoidable billboarding: but if you accept that it’s inevitable, then at least choosing who you want to advertise is a better option than just going with whatever is thrown on you.
