‘St. Peter’s Seminary is a disused Roman Catholic seminary near Cardross, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Completed in 1966, it is one of only 42 post-warbuildings in Scotland to be listed at Category A, the highest level of protection for a building of “special architectural or historic interest”. It has been abandoned since the end of the 1980s, and is currently in a ruinous state. Despite a number of proposals for reuse or renovation of the building, its future remains insecure.’

It’s now even more dilapidated than it appears in these photos. I was there a couple of weeks ago (a few photos here) and there have been more fires on the site, damaging a lot of the wooden panelling and some of the glulam beams over the altar area - hitting and breaking the altar on their way down.
Sill a fascinating place, though, and well worth a visit!
Being protected to death. And here I thought the U.S. had cornered that market. What a shame.
